Don’t Worry, Funny Money Will Go On

I see a lot of chit chat about a so-called “fiscal cliff”. Oh come on…even someone with a lukewarm IQ can figure this out. At the last minute, some silly deal will be ironed out and everyone will praise and bow down to our fearless leader and whatever some republican of the week. The media will inevitably fawn over the incredible bipartisan leadership exhibited by our slavemasters. I tend to ignore journalism memes; when I hear fiscal cliff, I want to throw up. We are way past the cliff and in the quicksand by now. The federal reserve and their puppet politicians control everything now. Not that I am conceding, mind you. I will fight until death. Things seem rather dire right now, but I refuse to live on my knees.

They are able to effectively control via fear. Too bad I have too much of that pesky Viking blood in me, eh?

The police state is ratcheting up. Alas, this is what the American populace seems to want, so who am I to argue? Drones, wiretapping, intimidation, fear, senseless wars and “operations”, high fructose corn syrup, aspartame, economic warfare, public schools…this will be your demise, although you might not realize it. I think most of you know subconsciously that it is occuring; I see it etched on people’s faces. For whatever reason, people have chosen to ignore it. Tomorrow’s history books will be written with an asterisk.

On the subject, I have been informed that my blog is verboten for the armed forces. This blog is blocked by the military. I don’t know why, but perhaps it is an honor. It is a bit disconcerting, but as I said it has been willed.

Personally, I am choosing to better myself and invest in family and preparations. This Christmas/Yule will be different. Gifts will be knowledge…science, books, and the like.

I’m too old to be arguing silly ideologies with the naysayers. I don’t see the point. I’ve been doing this information dissemination for 12 years now, I’m getting too tired. Argumentation on Twitter, Facebook, forums, etc. is not doing myself any favors; I have been using this time to further my knowledge on a wide array of subjects. I have no patience for ad hominem attacks, threats, parrot repeating, those that refuse to give a damn, the materialistic crowd, etc.
Seek love and knowledge. Let go of fears. Plant a garden. Educate family/friends. Prepare, prepare, prepare.

God luck and good speed.

Department of Homeland Security Prepares for Midwest Disaster

*Copied by permission from JM Ashley*

This blog post is a little off topic but I find this information to be very interesting.  The Dept. of Homeland Security is preparing for a disaster in the New Madrid fault zone region.

DHS has requested a supplier for meals for disaster victims: http://www.fbodaily.com/archive/2011/01-January/22-Jan-2011/FBO-02363660.htm

They have also requested a supply of water: http://www.fbodaily.com/archive/2011/01-January/22-Jan-2011/FBO-02363147.htm

Also DHS is requesting a supplier for blankets: https://www.fbodaily.com/archive/2011/01-January/22-Jan-2011/83-src.htm

They are looking for someone to train an urban rescue team (including equipment and rescue dogs): http://www.fbodaily.com/archive/2011/01-January/12-Jan-2011/FBO-02357169.htm

They are requesting a supplier of canine food (TSA): https://www.fbodaily.com/archive/2011/01-January/21-Jan-2011/FBO-02362288.htm

And this may not be related, but they are also moving FEMA trailers from Baton Rogue to southern Mississippi: https://www.fbo.gov/index?s=opportunity&mode=form&id=2ab928c1f2a3c3a3ca16d4dc4e625124&tab=core&_cview=1

It is clear that The Department of Homeland Security is investing a lot of money in preparation for a major disaster with in the U.S.  The time frame on these requests are relatively short.  What do they know?  Is there an earthquake coming?

Thank you, JM.

They Must Be Hiding Something Really Big

Author: Mac Slavo

As the BP oil leak continues to gush into the Gulf, and the only solution being actively pursued seems to be relief wells that are about 30 days from completion, the nation is starting to wonder – what is really going on down there?

The initial BP report at the time of the oil rig explosion was that 1,000 barrels of oil per day were leaking into the Gulf. Over seventy days later, we now know that it is roughly 100 times bigger than BP originally “estimated.” Our readers were aware that the problem was much bigger than originally reported had they read the article The BP Oil Disaster is a WAY BIGGER Problem Than You May Think published on May 6, 2010. Still, there were BP and government officials who completely denied that the leak was severe and were adamant about being able to shut it down with top kills, junk shots and a dome.

Last week, the US government essentially suspended first amendment rights in spill-affected areas by restricting access to photographers and journalists. Anyone found violating the 65-foot safety zone will be charged with a Class D Felony, punishable with jail time and a fine of up to $40,000.

In a free country, where the right to a free press is supposed to be protected by the very first of 27 amendments, all Americans should be alarmed.

No national security emergency has been declared (yet). Americans are (rightfully) alarmed by this latest development, which implies that something much more serious may be happening.

Reginald Kaigler at Demcad’s Corner says that Where there’s smoke, there’s usually fire:

Here are the possibilities:

1. Incompetence
Maybe the government is trying to protect BP and themselves from looking incompetent. Perhaps they are worried that this will make Obama look incompetent and hurt the Democrats in the coming elections.

2. Malicious Intent
Perhaps Obama wants this disaster to cause the maximum amount of damage so that he can use this crisis to push for his cap and trade policy proposals.

3. A Greater Threat
The last explanation seems like the most probable cause. Maybe the reason why the cleanup effort is failing is because they are not focused on cleaning up. I’m starting to wonder if we’re doing with a crisis that is greater than an oil spill. We now have reason to believe that the oil is spilling from the ocean floor. So maybe BP created some kind of under sea volcano that threatens the health of the entire Gulf of Mexico and now the government is trying to prevent panic by controlling the information.

The government’s motives can be any one of these explanations or a combination. In any event, what the U.S. government is doing is a direct violation of the 1st amendment of the United States constitution. There’s a reason why we are being lied to about the amount of oil that is erupting from the scene. there’s a reason why we are not using supertankers to clean this mess up. There’s a reason why the government is blocking the media out.

The federal government has something to hide.

What is it?!

We’d love to know the answer to that.

  • For those millions of us on the Gulf Coast, we’d really like to know if we should be preparing to evacuate and getting our affairs in order if we won’t be allowed to return due to oil-soaked cities or toxic air.
  • Is there really a methane-gas oil volcano under there ready to explode, potentially causing a Tsunami anywhere from 20 – 200 feet high? If you’re a BP or government scientists evaluating this situation, you should have a theory on this. For those of us in the direct path of any such tidal wave, we’d like to know the probabilities of an event like this occurring.
  • In all seriousness, what are the odds of plugging this leak with the relief wells? And please, stop lying to us. Everything you have said thus far has been grossly underestimated, including your percentages for the previous, failed attempts. We’ve heard that there is a 95% the relief wells will work. Is this true?
  • And what if, in a worst-case scenario, this well is in the 5% and we can’t plug it? Then what? What is the government’s contingency plan? Should we expect another hamburger and fries luncheon with our comrades in Russia to discuss a nuclear detonation?

President Obama gave us a not so fantastic speech about the oil leak a few weeks back where he failed to answer any real questions about the spill. Other than trying to push an alternative energy agenda, the President didn’t tell us anything new and provided absolutely no plan going forward.

All of this side-stepping and diversion leaves us with the same takeaway as Reginald had, where there’s smoke, there’s fire.

Someone is hiding something, and we would really like to know what it is considering this leak will affect the lives of millions and will, without a doubt, lead to a complete economic disasters for all of those who directly and indirectly depend on the Gulf of Mexico to provide a living for their families. And when we say “disaster” we really mean it. Reports suggest that Pensacola, FL hotel and condo cancellations are at – get this – 100%. Raise your hand if you think you know what is going to happen to commercial real estate, residential real estate, jobs and small businesses in the Gulf areas over the next 0 to 6 months.

We are resigned to the fact now, that the government will not provide any substantial details that could be helpful. They’ve resorted to putting people in jail rather than giving us the truth. This suggests that for the prepper on the coast, you should be ready for anything, from nuclear undersea detonation and methane-catalyzed tidal wave, to hundred mile wide dead zones and oil-infused hurricane storm surges.

Unfortunately, the American people who will be directly affected by this disaster will likely have no warning about potential ramifications, and will experience them in real-time, as they happen – though it is likely the rest of the country will not be alerted because it is no longer out of the question that the government will institute a full media black-out of any adverse effects.

Justice Dept. Asked For News Site’s Visitor Lists

In a case that raises questions about online journalism and privacy rights, the U.S. Department of Justice sent a formal request to an independent news site ordering it to provide details of all reader visits on a certain day.

The grand jury subpoena also required the Philadelphia-based Indymedia.us Web site “not to disclose the existence of this request” unless authorized by the Justice Department, a gag order that presents an unusual quandary for any news organization.

Kristina Clair, a 34-year old Linux administrator living in Philadelphia who provides free server space for Indymedia.us, said she was shocked to receive the Justice Department’s subpoena. (The Independent Media Center is a left-of-center amalgamation of journalists and advocates that – according to their principles of unity and mission statement – work toward “promoting social and economic justice” and “social change.”)

The subpoena (PDF) from U.S. Attorney Tim Morrison in Indianapolis demanded “all IP traffic to and from http://www.indymedia.us”; on June 25, 2008. It instructed Clair to “include IP addresses, times, and any other identifying information,” including e-mail addresses, physical addresses, registered accounts, and Indymedia readers’ Social Security Numbers, bank account numbers, credit card numbers, and so on.

“I didn’t think anything we were doing was worthy of any (federal) attention,” Clair said in a telephone interview with CBSNews.com on Monday. After talking to other Indymedia volunteers, Clair ended up calling the Electronic Frontier Foundation in San Francisco, which represented her at no cost.

Under long-standing Justice Department guidelines, subpoenas to members of the news media are supposed to receive special treatment. One portion of the guidelines, for instance, says that “no subpoena may be issued to any member of the news media” without “the express authorization of the attorney general” – that would be current attorney general Eric Holder – and subpoenas should be “directed at material information regarding a limited subject matter.”

Still unclear is what criminal investigation U.S. Attorney Morrison was pursuing. Last Friday, a spokeswoman initially promised a response, but Morrison sent e-mail on Monday evening saying: “We have no comment.” The Justice Department in Washington, D.C. also declined to respond.

Kevin Bankston, a senior staff attorney at the San Francisco-based Electronic Frontier Foundation, replied to the Justice Department on behalf of his client in a February 2009 letter (PDF) outlining what he described as a series of problems with the subpoena, including that it was not personally served, that a judge-issued court order would be required for the full logs, and that Indymedia did not store logs in the first place.

Morrison replied in a one-sentence letter saying the subpoena had been withdrawn. Around the same time, according to the EFF, the group had a series of discussions with assistant U.S. attorneys in Morrison’s office who threatened Clair with possible prosecution for obstruction of justice if she disclosed the existence of the already-withdrawn subpoena — claiming it “may endanger someone’s health” and would have a “human cost.”

Lucy Dalglish, the executive director of the Reporters Committee for Freedom of The Press, said a gag order to a news organization wouldn’t stand up in court: “If you get a subpoena and you’re a journalist, they can’t gag you.”

Dalglish said that a subpoena being issued and withdrawn is not unprecedented. “I have seen any number of these things withdrawn when counsel for someone who is claiming a reporter’s privilege says, ‘Can you tell me the date you got approval from the attorney general’s office’… I’m willing to chalk this up to bad lawyering on the part of the DOJ, or just not thinking.”

Making this investigation more mysterious is that Indymedia.us is an aggregation site, meaning articles that appear on it were published somewhere else first, and there’s no hint about what sparked the criminal probe. Clair, the system administrator, says that no IP (Internet Protocol) addresses are recorded for Indymedia.us, and non-IP address logs are kept for a few weeks and then discarded.

EFF’s Bankston wrote a second letter to the government saying that, if it needed to muzzle Indymedia, it should apply for a gag order under the section of federal law that clearly permits such an order to be issued. Bankston’s plan: To challenge that law on First Amendment grounds.

But the Justice Department never replied. “This is the first time we’ve seen them try to get the IP address of everyone who visited a particular site,” Bankston said. “That it was a news organization was an additional troubling fact that implicates First Amendment rights.”

This is not, however, the first time that the Feds have focused on Indymedia — a Web site whose authors sometimes blur the line between journalism, advocacy, and on-the-streets activism. In 2004, the Justice Department sent a grand jury subpoena asking for information about who posted lists of Republican delegates while urging they be given an unwelcome reception at the party’s convention in New York City that year. A Indymedia hosting service in Texas once received a subpoena asking for server logs in relation to an investigation of an attempted murder in Italy.

Bankston has written a longer description of the exchange of letters with the Justice Department, which he hopes will raise awareness of how others should respond to similar legal demands for Web logs, customer records, and compulsory silence. “Our fear is that this kind of bogus gag order is much more common than one would hope, considering they’re legally baseless,” Bankston says. “We’re telling this story in hopes that more providers will press back and go public when the government demands their silence.”

Recipients Of The Swine Flu Vaccine Are Being Given CDC “Vaccination Record” Tracking Cards

Swine flu vaccinations began Monday in Indiana, Illinois and Tennessee, and recipients of the H1N1 vaccination are being given CDC “vaccination record” tracking cards to help keep a record of who has received the swine flu vaccine.  This news is causing concern among privacy advocates who are worried that the U.S. government could use these CDC swine flu vaccination cards to track down those who have not had the vaccine if the government decides to make the swine flu vaccine mandatory.

News about these swine flu vaccination cards was dropped in the middle of an AP story about  the beginning of swine flu vaccinations in the United States.  When this was discovered, many concerned citizens started asking questions about these swine flu vaccination cards.

Fortunately there is a little bit more information out there about them.  The following is from the CDC’s official website:

Recipients of the 2009 H1N1 vaccine will be provided with a hand-held card to serve as a record of vaccination and a source of information should a report to the Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System (VAERS) be needed. Vaccine recipients will be encouraged to bring the hand-held card at their next visit to their primary care provider so that vaccination information can be transcribed into the patient’s permanent medical record.

So there it is.

Health authorities are going to have a record of exactly who has received the swine flu vaccine.

But another disturbing aspect of the paragraph above is that it sounds like they are expecting adverse side effects

Why would that be?

Well, as we have documented in other articles there are a lot of reasons, but one certainly is that all of the early batches of the H1N1 swine flu vaccine are all of the nasal spray variety that contain live swine flu.

In case you missed that, we are going to say that last part again.

All of the early batches of the swine flu vaccine contain live swine flu.

The product is called FluMist, and you have probably already seen video on the news of it being injected into the nasal passages of people getting the swine flu vaccine.

According to Dr. Sherri Tenpenny, somewhere between 10 million and 100 million swine flu viral particles are forcefully injected into the nostrils when FluMist is administered to a patient.

Are you ready to have millions upon millions of swine flu virus particles injected into your nasal passages?

Don’t you think that injecting live swine flu into the nasal passages of millions of Americans might just be a little dangerous?

Meanwhile, ABC’s Dr. Oz has been out rabidly promoting the swine flu vaccine all over national television, but now he has revealed that he is NOT going to give it to his own kids.

It is this kind of blatant hypocrisy that is making people turn off the mainstream news.  How can he recommend it to other people’s kids and not inject his own kids with it?

As they say, actions speak louder than words.

Don’t just make a blind decision about these vaccines.  Do your own research on these vaccines and make the decision that is right for you and your family.  These mainstream media idiots certainly are not going to shed a tear if something bad happens to you or your family.

Nurses file lawsuit over mandatory flu vaccine

SEATTLE – A union representing 16,000 registered nurses in Washington state has filed a federal lawsuit against MultiCare Health System for implementing a mandatory flu vaccination policy.

“This new policy will force nurses to get the flu vaccination or to wear face masks as a condition of employment and may result in the firing of nurses who do not comply with the policy,” the union said in a statement.

The lawsuit, filed by the Washington State Nurses Association, seeks an injunction to stop the policy from being implemented at both Tacoma General and Good Samaritan hospitals.

The nurses’ union said in a statement that it supports a voluntary vaccination program, but that any mandatory policy should be overseen by the state or federal government.

“Any mandatory vaccination policy should be implemented on a federal or state level, not through a patchwork of hospital-by-hospital policies,” said Judy Huntington, executive director of the nurses’ association.

The union said it was in the midst of negotiating a flu prevention program it they learned from the nurses that MultiCare had unilaterally implemented a mandatory vaccination policy.

“MultiCare’s unilateral implementation of this policy blatantly ignores their legal obligation to bargain with the union,” said Barbara Frye, the association’s assistant executive director of labor relations.

“Their refusal to bargain and to cease and desist forced us to take this extraordinary measure to seek relief from federal court,” she said.

The union said MultiCare’s proposed plan would require unvaccinated nurses to wear a surgical mask at all times while on duty even though there is a lack of research showing that masks actually prevent flu transmission.
