Orbs at Basin Park Hotel-Eureka Springs, Arkansas
This was a rather odd occurrence at the Basin Park Hotel ghost tour in Eureka Springs, Arkansas on July 3rd, 2012. There was a concentration of orbs that were around a certain door in the hotel. Our tour guide, I believe her name was Meg (my memory is starting to go, unfortunately!) told us a story about that particular area. I wish I could remember what floor it was on. Anyway, I won’t claim to you it is paranormal, but these things were exhibiting odd behavior. We used several pieces of equipment, tried opening the door to kick up dust, etc. There were EMF readings ON the door. The noises you hear in the background are the sounds of the Ovilus and the EMF detector; one of the “lights” you see isn’t paranormal, but our thermometer to measure the temperature of the door. Please forgive the initial orientation of the video; I fix that about a minute in and it looks normal again. Video taken with an infrared camera. Haunted Arkansas?
Hi everyone, looking for anyone that can help me out with haunted locations in central Arkansas, OUTSIDE of Little Rock. Sheridan, Prattsville, Ico, Redfield, Leola, Poyen and the like are the locations I am interested in. If you have any information, whether it be an old folk tale or whatever, PLEASE contact me. I am willing to do investigations. I have done investigations in Ohio, West Virginia, Iowa, Illinois and Canada. Infrasound and human behavior-feelings
Tethys from Lunatic Outpost brought this to my attention months ago, and I do believe it is a valid theory. Some of us get these terrible feelings of something bad happening…we feel like there is a shoe that is going to drop.
There could be an answer to this, not entirely mundane as one might think. Actually, it is quite interesting.
It is called infrasound. It is a sound, a feeling that many animals get, thus the animals being able to predict and behave differently prior to an earthquake or storm. This is something that can be heard by animals, but more importantly, it is FELT.
Infrasound can be generated by earthquakes, tectonics, volcanoes, storms, surf, avalanches, icebergs, aurora, upper-atmosphere lightning…the list goes on and on. Elephants and whales are known to utilize infrasound to communicate over large distances with one another.
So, the question in my mind becomes…if the animals can feel this way, can humanity? Some of us are more perceptive than others, and can feel changes within the earth. Is this the result of infrasound?
There have been experiments on humans using infrasound. The subjects reported feeling a sense of dread, anxiety, uneasiness, extreme sorrow, ear ringing, and fear.
Perhaps some of us can feel this better than others, some are more in tune with this feeling?
Can you imagine what would happen if the government was employing this as a weapon, to torture those that can feel this? It might not be beyond the realm of possibility. Perhaps by utilizing a HAARP-like technology, TPTB can control those that are known to be more feeling than others.
Some people report feeling these effects while observing UFOs; what if this is also employed against those observing the UFOs?

Beware, for those that can “feel” it can be torture.
I don’t think it is too far gone to think that if this has an effect on some animals, it can also have an effect on humans.
So, is it truly psychic power or just being more in tune to the earth? A way for God to get our attention?
I believe it is a way for God to get our attention to earthly events; He blessed some of us with the capability to feel this, just like our animal friends.
I pray it is not going to be used by the wrong hands, as this would be tantamount to torture.

Now I am a little freaked out
Woke up at 4am. What woke me up? The sounds of FOOTSTEPS in my apartment. It was very clear…the cat started going bananas. There is nobody living next to me. There is someone downstairs, but I would not hear the noise that clearly. It sounded like it was coming from my stairwell. Either something followed me home from the cemetery, or there is an astral inhabitant living here.
I will try taking some pictures and setting up a recorder, maybe I can get something.
Haunted Ohio: The Moonville Tunnel
*I have been here before. It is freaky. It is not just the Moonville Tunnel, it is the surrounding area as well. Hocking Hills, the cemetery…bad vibes all around.*
ZALESKI — For some locals who are into ghosthunting, the Moonville Tunnel in Vinton County is too tempting to pass up.
The ghosthunters who make up Unseen Forces Paranormal Research Team consist of members from both Meigs County and Mason County, W.Va. who specialize in investigating haunted places. Unseen Forces has previously investigated Beech Grove Cemetery in Pomeroy.
As for their Moonville Tunnel adventure, Unseen Forces members Brenden Black and Raven Johnson said their experience was by far the most haunted the group has documented. Black, Johnson and members Ryan Ferrell and Whitnee Russell have been to the tunnel three times, collecting evidence that the location is indeed haunted.
According to various ghost hunting sources on the Internet, the Moonville Tunnel is regarded as one of the most haunted places in Ohio by many ghosthunters. The old tunnel sits along Raccoon Creek in the Zaleski Forest. The town of Moonville was a mining town founded in the 1850’s which was said to be located around the tunnel which was used by the Marietta-Cincinnati Railroad. The town’s population is said to have peaked in the 1870’s at under 100 residents. The town then completely fell off the map and disappeared in the 1930’s. All that’s left is the tunnel, a cemetery and a few old foundations for long-gone homes. The train stopped running in 1986 and the tracks were torn out in 1988.
Though some ghosthunters report there were as many as six people killed in the tunnel between 1859 and 1986, the most popular “ghost” story haunting the tunnel is the ghost of a railroad worker. The legend goes a Marietta-Cincinnati railroad worker fell onto the tracks outside the tunnel on March 29, 1859 and was hit by the train. People claim to have seen his ghost walking the tracks with a lantern, wearing his railroad uniform.
The crew from Unseen Forces believes they came in contact with what could be the mysterious railroad worker during their investigations at the tunnel. While in the tunnel, Black said the group turned on a flashlight and began asking questions of what they felt was a spirit near them. The group asked the spirit to dim the flashlight for “yes” and brighten it for “no.”
Through this communication, Black and Johnson said the spirit answered to the name of “Brakeman” and said he died in the tunnel. He told the team he is staying at the tunnel because he feels he has a purpose there. He also communicated he did live in Moonville, is happy and feels at peace, was killed at night time and there was an important thing he wanted the team to know but he couldn’t tell them. The Brakeman also said there was a girl in the tunnel who died there. In fact there are reports of a small girl dying in the tunnel in 1986 after she was struck by a train.
In addition, team members reported being touched by unseen hands and heard unexplained noises and footsteps in the tunnel. The team also captured a photo of what appears to be the shadow of a person at the far end of the tunnel. Black said the photo was taken during daylight and no one saw the “shadow man” in the tunnel when the picture was snapped.
Black said the team utilized video recorders, digital cameras, voice recorders, EMF detectors, contact thermometers, UC blacklight flashlights and K2 meters to complete the investigation. In addition they used laser levels in the tunnel which occasionally would show breaks in the light as if something unseen was walking past.
“It is definitely haunted,” Black concluded about the tunnel.
As for those who don’t believe in hauntings, Black and Johnson said, “you’ll believe once you experience it.” As for why do ghosthunting? Johnson said “it’s a rush.”

My spidey sense is tingling…
I am not sure why. I went to a cemetery yesterday, just walking around. I have this odd feeling that a ghost followed me home.
I know most paranormal investigators say they do not follow you home. I feel something did, though. My cat was running around the apartment like crazy last night. I felt a presence. I do not believe it is a negative presence, but I can certainly feel it.

There is something wrong with the world right now
Perhaps I am in the matrix. Perhaps I am not even alive. Something weird is going on, it is very difficult for me to articulate.
I am having a hard time describing humanity, or the lack thereof.
The past month or so has been almost a dream-like quality. Nothing seems real, at the same time, everything seems dreadfully real.
We are being prepared for something. Something very big.
Some strange things have been happening to me.
I am no real stranger to paranormal type events. Recently, these events have been increasing.
My television set has turned itself off twice in the past 24 hours.
I lost my Nintendo DS. I couldn’t find it anywhere. I looked all over, in different places, at least five times. I was in panic mode. I looked in my bag, the bag I had already looked in FIVE TIMES, and it was there. I had even emptied out the bag! IT WAS NOT THERE WHEN I HAD LOOKED. It was there twenty minutes later. Nobody was in here, nobody was messing with my mind…it just magically reappeared. I cannot explain this.
Things are starting to scare me…I see the glitches, I see the cycles…it is all there. BUT I HAVEN’T CRACKED THE DAMN CODE YET. What is the code? I keep asking myself questions that cannot possibly be answered.
Perhaps I think too much…

In the same area where I took the other pictures…some nice colored orbs appeared, in Streetsville Cemetery. I could feel quite a bit in this area, in fact, they did not seem to want me there. My dowsing rods were going nuts!!!
