A Political Rant

Most of the time, I wonder why I even bother. There is a contingency of so-called “conservatives” online that are blaming Libertarians for Obama’s victory. Okay, sure. Never mind that these people don’t have an ounce of intelligence regarding the political structure in this nation, i.e. the electoral college, so I will discuss the “blame game”.

There is a true evil that has overtaken this nation. It is an evil that stifles intellectual and rational dialogue. It is present in people who are political, and in those who are not. It is present in Republicans; it is present in Democrats. This concerns the lack of personal responsibility. People cannot accept that they might be wrong. I am certain that I have been guilty of this, so I am not totally absolved; however, the people that are supposed to know better than myself, certainly do not seem to.

This has led to a populace that resorts to preschool behavior when it comes to defense and rebuttals. The ad hominem style of debate seems to be the most common. This usually involves bringing up a race, religion, or gender card. Screams of “Racist!”, “Sexist!”, and “Anti-Semite” rule this atmosphere. This is not conducive to a true, lively debate; this is nothing but trying to slander one’s opponent.

I am tired of this. I am tired of people putting the blame on others. Republicans, if you had not alienated Libertarians, they might have taken a better look at your candidate. This is actually a moot point, though; if you look at the statistics from this election, a hell of a lot of people simply stayed home. I won’t assume to know why, but I have an inkling. The true conservative base could not stomach voting for Romney. If you look at the electoral votes, you would probably realize that the Libertarian factor could not possibly make a difference. The minute Gary Johnson earns 100 electoral votes, then it would be a factor. For now, your lashing out is nonsensical, at best.

If your life is so meaningless that you must blame me for the one vote I cast, there is something wrong with you psychologically. If you want to blame one million people for the votes they have cast, again, nonsensical. Republicans, you have lost me. With your smears and tactics on people that had no bearing on this election, I will no longer support federal Republican candidates. I will look on a local basis for somebody tried and true.

It’s funny, the email I received yesterday from the Tea Party. Here is a portion:

“However, the Takers didn’t act alone. The question is: if the republicans cannot beat Obama after all of his crimes, fraud and treachery then the Republican Party does not deserve to exist and must be dealt with.”

I cannot agree more.

This partisan halftime show is nothing but grandstanding, while we sit and wait for the collapse that will inevitably come. A nation with an educational system that produces idiocy cannot grasp the economic and political processes that have shaped the problems we need to overcome.

Orwell’s 1984 nightmarish dystopia is here. Obama’s peace is nothing more than drone attacks on Pakistanis and a confusing array of executive orders that threaten our liberties. This transcends anything with an “R” or “D” behind a name.

In any case, I’m not here for your edification.

I don’t know why I bother. It is like screaming in a playground…it isn’t heard, except for those who already know the message. Lines are being drawn. It is up to you where YOU want to be.

Thank you for reading.

Monday Morning Quarterback

Dear America,

I have been watching your demise for some time now. I thought, given the amount of animosity from the AMERICAN citizenry toward this bill, that it would have a chance at failing. Boy, was I wrong.

Republicans…I am mad at you for not being more forceful concerning this issue. You were rather like an injured dog that did not care to strike back.

Democrats…I am mad at you for even going through with this, for not seeing the oh-so-corporate nature of this bill.

I am mad because I know this will create apathy within me yet again.

Politics is rather like wrestling. You KNOW it is fake, yet you cannot seem to take your eyes away from the train wreck.

A Bible verse keeps going through my mind. I cannot remember what book, chapter, verse it was, but it went something like this:

“Be not deceived, God is not mocked; for whatsoever a man soweth that shall he also reap.”

Makes sense, although we have pretty much been deceived…we have mocked. And the reaping is upcoming.

I wish I could tell you whether we should fight this all the way, or we should go underground…the new world order is surely progressing. The script is being followed. Next up, immigration reform with the special ID card. What is after that? You can bet some sort of legislation for tighter gun control.

They must think we are stupid…that we cannot see this right in front of our eyes. Question is-do YOU see it happening?

Make sure you are prepared for every plausible scenario. Me, just going to hide out for a little bit…watch it all unfold. Taking time off the net is a priority right now. Learning every little nook and cranny in that constitution is number one.

I am just a regular person. Perhaps if we had a bunch of regular people we could force them to listen…alas, that is the true crux of the problem. We are being ignored continuously. Rather restores your faith in humanity, eh?

Personal responsibility. We should start taking it again.

Signed…

Just another American

HL

You have a CHOICE

You going to allow these governmental minions to approve your life? You going to sit back and only care about what is on television, or what is going on in some celebrity’s marriage?

EVERYTHING is falling into place, and we allow it to…we do not fight. We do not use reason. We allow them to screw us continually, while rewarding them by buying into the system.

Regression has its price. Rome is burning. Time to turn off the tv, the internet, the video games…

Time to take it to these minions and throw it back into their faces.

I somehow doubt our forefathers had this garbage in mind.

Make your choice…make it wisely.

WAKE UP.

I have something to say.

I am sick of isms. TPTB are successfully putting a wedge between all of us. I do not like what America is becoming. It has become painfully worse in the past few months. I have always railed against partisanship, because I knew these days were coming. It is a trap that intelligent, thinking people seem to be falling into.

Suddenly, if someone disagrees with you, you are a racist, nazi, communist, fascist, socialist or pinko. You know, the path to enlightenment is not via pundits, whether it be right wing or left wing. THEY ARE NOT THERE TO SERVE YOUR INTERESTS. THEY ARE THERE TO MAKE MONEY, TO STEAL OUR VERY ESSENCES.

The people at the top are having a great laugh right now. I am not. It is very distressing to watch people who should know better degenerate into sandbox bullies. Come on, people…this is not going to work. In the end, they win, we lose.

Spread the word: Congress to fine you $3800 unless you buy insurance from private insurers

*I have pretty much had it with politics.*

Need more proof that the health insurance lobby wrote the health carereform proposals with an assist from a compliant Obama White House and a completely corrupt and indifferent Congress?

The voluntary, optional government insurance plan is off the table due to the Obama administration’s craptacular messaging on the issue.

Such a plan would compete with predatory private insurance companies – also known as leeches.

It would keep them from price gouging, harming consumers, and effectively killing Americans with their crminal stewardship of health care.

You will not get that competitive option, however, because Obama is a too cool for school weakling who does not know how to fight and who does not inspire fear in Congressional Democrats, who have entered full meltdown mode.

On the table though, thanks to the fact that Obama has outsourced leadership on health care to over-the-hill Montana Democrat Max Baucus, is a $3,800 per family fine to be levied on families above the poverty line if they do not want to purchase insurance from the private insurance leeches.

For families below the poverty line sans families, the government will mercifully lower the fine – to $1,500. For individuals below the poverty line, that fine is $750.

Yes, thousand dollar health care fines in time of recession, mass unemployment, and wage depression. And for what? The same crappy private health insurance already claiming the lives of Americans on a daily basis.

This final outrage should kill Obamacare.

This should – finally – prove that the Democratic Party leaders have completed their transformation from Truman-style muscle men to wilting tools of the Wall Street-Washington oligarchy and the enemies of working people.

Max Baucus, chair of the Senate Finance Committee and thus the most important person in Congress when it comes to health care, is working hard on the issue, but like anyone who stays in D.C. too long he cannot help but be corporate hack.

Let’s not mince words: Baucus deserves to be tortured on the breaking wheel for proposing this travesty. This is nothing short of health care terrorism.

Obama, though, is not without blame – for it was his bright idea to farm out health care reform to the corporatists while he went on vacation and held beer summits instead of putting his butt to the grass to make the case for real reform to the American people.

We are not going to get progress on health care reform from the current leaders of the Democratic Party: whether by misguided intentions or rank complicity they are quite simply going to make Americans slaves to private insurance emperors, because they are too wimpy to stand up to the leeches.

Baucus: thank you for trying, but you stink to high heaven as a politician. Retire, and regain what little dignity you still have.

Harry Reid, you are probably a nice guy, but you are as politically worthless as the Republican Party and should go home before embarrassing yourself in next year’s election.

And Obama, poor thing, you stink the most, for letting these fools stink up your Presidency.

You really, really would have done better as Vice-President to Hillary. You could have learned a thing or two about boxing.

A $3,800 fine??? Really, you think the American people will go for this?

Hang it up, fellas. You have ruined health care reform. We tried and we failed miserably. Let’s give it another go in 2032.

Politics are boring

I am so sick of whiny, sniveling republicans and democrats.

We will NEVER advance if we are degraded to political ideologies.

Yes, keep on arguing which is better…reps or dems. This should be incredibly helpful in the scheme of things.

I tend to not think of life in these schemes. It just does not work for me.

Bush, Obama…same face, different name and label.

Meh. Tired of it.

MSM: U.S. House passes “hate crime” bill that Bush opposed

*While you were asleep…*

The Democratic-led U.S. House of Representatives Wednesday approved an expansion of federal “hate crime” laws — an effort that former Republican President George W. Bush had opposed.

On a vote of 249-175, the House passed and sent to the Senate a bill backed by the new Democratic White House to broaden such laws by classifying as “hate crimes” those attacks based on a victim’s sexual orientation, gender identity or mental or physical disability.

The current law, enacted four decades ago, limits federal jurisdiction over hate crimes to assaults based on race, color, religion or national origin.

The bill would lift a requirement that a victim had to be attacked while engaged in a federally protected activity, like attending school, for it to be a federal hate crime.

House Democratic Leader Steny Hoyer urged passage of the Federal Local Law Enforcement Hate Crimes Prevention Act of 2009.

“Hate crimes motivated by race, religion, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, and identity or disability not only injure individual victims, but also terrorize entire segments of our population and tear at our nation’s social fabric,” Hoyer said.

Bush had helped stop such a bill in the last Congress, arguing existing state and federal laws were adequate. But President Barack Obama asked Congress to send it to him to sign into law.

“I urge members on both sides of the aisle to act on this important civil rights issue by passing this legislation to protect all of our citizens from violent acts of intolerance,” Obama said in a statement before the vote.

Conviction of a hate crime carries stepped up punishment, above and beyond that meted out for the attack. The bill would allow the federal government to help state and local authorities investigate hate crimes.

Representative Lamar Smith, ranking Republican on the House Judiciary Committee, helped lead the charge against the bill, arguing it was misdirected and discriminatory.

“All violent crimes must be vigorously prosecuted,” Smith said. “Unfortunately, this bill undermines one of the most basic principles of our criminal justice system — ‘equal justice for all.’”

“Justice will now depend on the race, gender, sexual orientation, disability or other protected status of the victim,” Smith said. “It will allow different penalties to be imposed for the same crime.”

Earlier this year, Congress passed two other major bills derailed during the Bush administration.

One, vetoed by Bush, would have expanded a federal health insurance program for children. The other, blocked by Bush’s fellow Republicans in the Senate, would have reversed a U.S. Supreme Court ruling to make it easier to sue for discrimination in the workplace.

With Democrats having won the White House and expanded their control of Congress in the 2008 election, both measures were among the party’s top 2009 legislative priorities. And they became among the first bills Obama signed into law.

WAKE UP, AMERICA!!!!

Within the framework of an intellectually impoverished nation, a gullible and desperate populace is easily led astray.

Here comes your messiah.

In the guise of a caring politician, our fearless leader has finagled a so-called stimulus bill…which I am sure many of my fellow Americans did not bother to read. I cannot say I blame them; after all, the documentation is over 1500 pages.

I just wonder how many in the House of Representatives bothered to read it.

It is a lot of BS, to be certain…a great deal of posturing, spending, and more spending.

It does not take a genius to realize that all of this is nonsense. There are practical ways to fix these problems, or at least there WERE ways. I am afraid we are beyond the point of no return, though.

Simple solutions. Take the power back from the federal reserve. Penalize corporations that do not adhere to common sense values…i.e. investing in America first, instead of outsourcing or hiring those that are not Americans. Stop feeding the destructive tendencies of the predatory state of Israel, by sending them countless dollars we cannot afford. Completely reform the educational system so that we do not have all of these stupid people waiting for a messiah…teachers that cannot PERFORM receive no paycheck. End corporate welfare.

Our values are very much out of whack, which saddens me immensely. Our food supply is in a state of disarray (mercury tainted HFCS, aspartame and MSG that further inhibit critical thinking), our morality has all but disappeared, there is no respect for previous institutions that actually worked, etc.

All of you that actually agree to this third generation bailout, please go to our founding fathers and state your case. Tell everyone why you are currently worshipping a charlatan. Tell them, with satisfaction, that you are happy about the turn of events.

We can blame Bu$h all day if we want to…yes, he is at fault. Along with Clinton, Bush Sr and the whole lot. But really, there is enough blame to go around. It is in all of us who put materialistic and zionist values ahead of our own well-being. Sad, but true. We are all to blame.

The concept of America has not died, yet has been easily warped by those in power. The sheeple bought it. You reap what you sow.

A Repeat of 2004 Philly Voter Chaos, Fraud

GOP Election Board members have been tossed out of polling stations in at least half a dozen polling stations in Philadelphia because of their party status.

A Pennsylvania judge previously ruled that court-appointed poll watchers could be NOT removed from their boards by an on-site election judge, but that is exactly what is happening, according to sources on the ground.

It is the duty of election board workers to monitor and guard the integrity of the voting process.

Denying access to the minority (in this case Republican) poll watchers and inspectors is a violation of Pennsylvania state law. Those who violate the law can be punished with a misdemeanor and subjected to a fine of $1,000 and sent to prison between one month and two years.

Those on site are describing the situation as “pandemonium” and there may be video coming of the chaos.

Some of the precincts where Republicans have been removed are: the 44th Ward, 12th and 13th divisions; 6th Ward, 12th division; 32nd Ward, Division 28.

“Election board officials guard the legitimacy of the election process and the idea that Republicans are being intimidated and banned for partisan purposes does not allow for an honest and open election process,” said McCain-Palin spokesman Ben Porritt in a statement to Townhall.

The City of Brotherly Love was roiled in controversy during the 2004 election because of rigged voting machines that showed nearly 2,000 votes for Democratic presidential candidate John Kerry before the polls had opened. A man also used a gun to intimidate poll workers at Ward 30, division 11 in 2004.

Update: Fox News just did a report about the controversy. The Democrats are saying that the polling station is crowded and election board members need to cycle through the areas intermittently.

Update 10:53am: Pennsylvania Secretary of State Pedro Cortes says this matter is already being heard in court and should be resolved soon. He says there was a dispute of the names of the poll watchers on record. This is a different story than the Democratic officials told Fox News earlier this morning.
