Army rabbi ‘gave out hate leaflet to troops’

*What would happen if it were the opposite?*

The Israeli army’s chief rabbinate gave soldiers preparing to enter the Gaza Strip a booklet implying that all Palestinians are their mortal enemies and advising them that cruelty is sometimes a “good attribute”.

The booklet, entitled Go Fight My Fight: A Daily Study Table for the Soldier and Commander in a Time of War, was published especially for Operation Cast Lead, the devastating three-week campaign launched with the stated aim of ending rocket fire against southern Israel. The publication draws on the teachings of Rabbi Shlomo Aviner, head of the Jewish fundamentalist Ateret Cohanim seminary in Jerusalem.

In one section, Rabbi Aviner compares Palestinians to the Philistines, a people depicted in the Bible as a war-like menace and existential threat to Israel.

In another, the army rabbinate appears to be encouraging soldiers to disregard the international laws of war aimed at protecting civilians, according to Breaking the Silence, the group of Israeli ex-soldiers who disclosed its existence. The booklet cites the renowned medieval Jewish sage Maimonides as saying that “one must not be enticed by the folly of the Gentiles who have mercy for the cruel”.

Breaking the Silence is calling for the firing of the chief military rabbi, Brigadier-General Avi Ronzki, over the booklet. The army had no comment on the matter yesterday.

Rabbi Arik Ascherman, the executive director of the Rabbis for Human Rights group, called the booklet “very worrisome”, adding “[this is] a minority position in Judaism that doesn’t understand the … necessity of distinguishing between combatants and civilians.”

Health Canada recalls LG cellphones

OTTAWA – Health Canada ordered a recall of 129,000 LG cellphones Tuesday after they were found to broadcast more radio frequencies than is legal.

A statement from Health Canada Tuesday said the LG 150 phones, which have been sold across Canada since January 2007, “do not meet the radio-frequency exposure limits established by the federal government.”

Because it contravenes standards set out in the Radiocommunications Act, the LG 150 can no longer be manufactured, imported, or sold in Canada.

Health Canada said that despite the increased frequencies, the phones posed no short- or long-term health concerns for customers.

Extremely excessive radio frequency exposure can result in the “heating of biological tissue and an increase in body temperature,” according to the U.S. Federal Communications Commission.

The phones had been carried by Bell Mobility, SaskTel, MTS Allstream, Virgin Mobile Canada, Aliant Mobility, KITS, NorthernTel, Sogetel, Télébec and TBayTel.

LG Electronics Canada issued a statement offering no-cost replacements for the faulty phones through the affected retailers.

“LG has mobilized quickly in response to these findings on behalf of our customers,” said William Cho, the company’s president.

Between 230,000 and 250,000 of the phones had been sold, said LG, but only those manufactured between August 2007 to February 2008 have been confirmed to fail the standards test.

However, all of the phones, regardless of when manufactured, will be accepted for replacement until March 31.

Swedish city cancels Holocaust event

A northern Swedish city has decided to cancel a planned Holocaust Memorial Day torchlight procession due to the recent IDF offensive in Gaza, it was reported Tuesday.

The official reason given for the decision, made by the municipal board and local church in Lulea, was safety concerns, but Bo Nordin, a clergyman and spokesman for the church, cited the war in Gaza.

“It feels uneasy to have a torchlight procession to remember the victims of the Holocaust at this time,” Nordin told Swedish National Radio. “We have been preoccupied and grief-stricken by the war in Gaza and it would feel just feel odd with a large ceremony about the Holocaust.”

The decision drew fierce criticism from various organizations as well as residents of the city, and a defiant group of Lulea locals has decided to hold the torchlight procession anyway.

“To compare the Holocaust with Gaza is like comparing apples with pears,” said Inga-Lill Sundström, one the organizers of the ceremony.

Meanwhile, Auschwitz survivors and state officials were gathering to mark the 64th anniversary of the Nazi death camp’s liberation as part of worldwide Holocaust remembrance ceremonies.

The yearly commemoration, in the depth of the Polish winter, marks the day the advancing Soviet army liberated the camp in 1945. The anniversary has been established as an annual Holocaust remembrance day by the United Nations.

More than 1 million people, mostly Jews, died in the camp’s gas chambers or through forced labor, disease or starvation.

Tuesday’s commemorations at Auschwitz include a wreath-laying ceremony and prayers at the foot of the former camp’s main memorial, which stands between the twisted ruins of two crematoria.

Events elsewhere include a speech to the German parliament by President Horst Koehler and a ceremony at the former Sachsenhausen concentration camp outside Berlin.

[1] On December 17, 1862, General Ulysses Grant wrote
to the Assistant Adjutant General of the US Army:

"I have long since believed that in spite of all the vigilance that can
be infused into post commanders, the specie regulations of the Treasury
Department have been violated, and that mostly by the Jews and other
unprincipled traders. So well satisfied have I been of this that I
instructed the commanding officer at Columbus to refuse all permits to
Jews to come South, and I have frequently had them expelled from the
department. But they come in with their carpet-sacks in spite of all
that can be done to prevent it. The Jews seem to be a privileged class
that can travel anywhere. They will land at any woodyard on the river
and make their way through the country. If not permitted to buy cotton
themselves, they will act as agents for someone else, who will be at a
military post with a Treasury permit to receive cotton and pay for it in
Treasury notes which the Jew will buy at an agreed rate, paying gold."

Also, on December 17, 1862, General Ulysses S. Grant issued General
Orders No. 11. This order banished all Jews from Tennessee's western
military.

General Orders No. 11 declared:
"1. The Jews, as a class, violating every regulation of trade
established by the Treasury Department, are hereby expelled from the
Department.

"2. Within 24 hours from the receipt of this order by Post Commanders,
they will see that all of this class of people are furnished with
passes required to leave, and anyone returning after such notification,
will be arrested and held in confinement until an opportunity occurs of
sending them out as prisoners, unless furnished with permits from these
headquarters.

"3. No permits will be given these people to visit headquarters for the
purpose of making personal application for trade permits.

"By order of Major Gen. Grant.

Assistant Adjutant General"

Evidence Of Solar Manipulation? And Solar Changes?

The odds are astronomical (no pun intended) that a sudden change of inactivity would happen EXACTLY at midnight, after more than a week of no real X-Ray activity. It appears that someone or something was making their capabilities known to alter the Sun’s operation. Such technology is more dangerous than the biggest collection of atomic weapons any country could have. Tinkering with Solar activity can result in unpredictable, grave and irreversible damage to Earth.
Tick marks along the bottom axis of each chart represent 3 hour intervals on all charts.

NASA has claimed in the past they don’t understand (?) why the red line (GOES 10 in Fig. 1) has remained a flat line for more over a year now. Perhaps the real reason is because there is no longer any real measureable energy at that wavelength. If so, this marks a very important change in the way our Sun is functioning.
Shortly after high noon (UTC) on January 24, a tiny blip appears in Fig. 1. Apparently the satellite was detecting something at this wavelength. Yet while recent activity for the same satellite which was measuring activity at shorter wavelengths of .5 to 4.0A, we still see no activity on the red line. Is it possible there reason for a flat red line is the result of a problem in the satellite?
In the drawing below (Fig. 3) we see that satellite architecture doesn’t use a separate sensor for different wavelengths. The X-Ray sensor uses one sensor with rotating wheel containing plastic and metal filters (labled as Entrance Filters in Fig. 3) to filter various X-Ray wavelengths. These filters are all opaque to heat (infrared), ultraviolet and visible light. Any argument that the wheel isn’t rotating clearly cannot apply here – if the wheel were unable to rotate, then neither wavelength would be detected correctly, or both charts would have exactly the same plots if the filter could not move. This deduction is made in the absence of NASA announcing that a technical problem occured with the filter wheel, which to date hasn’t been made to my knowledge.

In summary, it appears that when Solar magnetic activity was altered just before midnight (UTC) it caused the Hp value to peak almost exactly at midnight (Fig. 4.) Apparently the external influence by someone or something also increased X-Ray output at almost exactly the same time (Fig. 1.) This indicates someone or some government is in posession of highly advanced technology and they are using it for some purpose.
Also interesting is that solar activity is completely unrelated to whatever time it may be on Earth. Our measure of time comes from an arbitrary decision to use Greenwich, England as the ordinate (starting) point for all 24 hour time on Earth. The Sun could not possibly be influenced by such a decision, as this decision was made many decades ago and is non-physical.
Another nail in the coffin of global warming.
Perhaps manufacturers of sun blocking lotion will ultimately see their market “dry up.”
